My favorite paper craft

Making invitations and wedding programs is something I'm really passionate about. I did my own wedding invitations and programs, with the help of my great bridesmaids of course. These were my first attempt at a paper craft besides a normal scrapbook layout. It was quite a challenge at first but in the end they were pretty cute.

The bulk of the program is a black 8.5 x 11 piece of cardstock folded in half. The green on the cover is vellum layed over a piece of white cardstock with coordinating ribbon underneath to hold together.

On the inside, I used a piece of white cardstock to type all the information on. I printed the information in landscape to save paper. All the info was typed in Microsoft Word using colums. Real simple. On the first page I used a coordinating ribbon which was the inspiration for the invitaiton in the beginning. As a pointer, get someone who hasn't looked at the invitation umpteen times to proofread. I have a name mispelled because I didn't. :-(
